My friends and I stayed at the Altamount for one night following a days golf in Blairgowrie. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. We got exactly what we required in the way of accomodation, checking in and out ran smoothly. The meal we had in the lovely dining room was good and the service good. The breakfast also was really good.Hotel also has a lovely relaxing residents lounge. We would definitely go to the Altamount again.

We stayed in the StrathblaIir suite the size of the room was excellent.
The room did not have a proper shower. It was a bath with a fixed shower hose on the taps.

Only stayed one night.Room very clean but fairly basic. Breakfast nice.
No staff around when we arrived and eventually found someone by knocking on a door marked 'staff only'. Staff did not have a record of our booking made through yourselves and therefore a bit of a delay until we got our room.

Very peaceful but very central location. Twin room was actually two rooms with single beds and an adjoining bathroom. Small but great for a good night's sleep and I could watch sports on my television while my wife watched cooking on hers.
I could not get wifi in my cottage room.

A very warm and friendly hotel with really good food and very helpful staff. I'd definitely return if skiing at Glenshee again.

A very pleasant Hotel with relaxing atmospere., Rooms were Clean and comfortable, and in keeping with Country House feel. Enjoyable and Relaxing weekend.
The twin Room were just that two individual single bedrooms. Layout of one bedroom requires review, access to Mirror and Tea facilities were not easy. Some parts of the hotel were "Tired" and in need of some slight attention. Television had only 5 channels plus one news channel to view, with Free to view channels you could expect more. Some interior features were in need of a new coat of paint or varnish. Fixtures in bathroom were loose and needed fixing. Small points but would have made the stay more enjoyable.

We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The food was beautiful -no complaints at all. The staff were friendly and very polite and professional.
The noise of the maserator in the tioilet was the only thing that was a nuisance particularly during the night.

The staff were fantastic. They did everything they could without crowding us. The food was lovely, we ate at the hotel each evening as well as for the inclusive breakfast. Perhaps a little variation on the menu therefore but a small point! Lovely hotel and fabulous staff.

We only stayed one night on route to our destination. The hotel was very comfortable, quiet and within walking distance of Blairgowrie. The girl who booked us in and served breakfast came over as being very helpful and welcoming.

Very welcoming reception staff. We had a couple of the cottage rooms in the old stables at back of main hotel building. These are good if you have mobility problems. Complimentary freshly baked shortbread whilst we enjoyed the sunshine on the grassed stable yard. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast.
